Walk
Want to know what it's like to walk an alpaca? Come walk with us! After a welcome drink and snack, we will set off together with the alpacas. With the dunes in the background, we walk through the typically Dutch polder landscape to the mill, with numerous brightly coloured bulb fields in spring. A beautiful view is guaranteed - perfect for photos! During the walk, we will tell you all kinds of facts about the alpacas and you will have plenty of time to feed and pet them. The alpacas are looking forward to it, are you?
N.B. The walk takes place with a minimum number of 12 people.
Please note: In case of bad weather, you will be contacted and this activity will be converted to a Feed & Greet. You will receive a refund to cover the price difference.
Please note: within 48 hours must be made by telephone.
- For safety reasons, you are not allowed to hold an umbrella when you have an alpaca on a leash.
- Dogs are not allowed during the walk.
- The walk will go ahead with a group of 10 people or more.
Clothing advice for the Alpaca walk
We will walk through a meadow on unpaved paths. The grass can be wet and long, so make sure you have good footwear. In addition, the wind can be strong, so it is advisable to bring a wind- and waterproof jacket.
Winter/ Spring:
- Boots or hiking boots
- Water- and windproof jacket
- Hat, Scarf and Gloves
Summer:
- Hiking boots
- Cap/Hat
- Sunscreen
- Bottle of water
Please note:
- Walking on flip-flops is at your own risk. The alpaca has (sharp) nails that can hurt you.
- We walk on unpaved paths, so not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
- In case of really bad weather, we can reschedule the walk or offer an indoor programme in the form of a feed & greet. For the remaining, you will receive a voucher via e-mail. You can use the voucher to book a new activity or spend the amount in our shop.

Our Alpacas do not like walking in hard rain, snow, hail, strong wind or thunderstorms. In these exceptional cases, we offer an indoor programme in the form of a feed & greet. For the remaining amount we will send you a voucher by e-mail. You can use the voucher to book another activity or spend the amount in our shop. Please provide your contact details when booking so that we can contact you if necessary.

Kinderen tot en met 13 jaar dienen altijd begeleid te worden door een betalende ingeschreven volwassene.
